Question 1

How bright is this lamp in real life? I’ve seen some reviews say the 10500LM claim feels exaggerated.

Accepted Answer

Good question. In our testing and based on feedback from many buyers, the 10500LM is achievable but only at the highest color temperature (5000K) and full brightness setting. In everyday use—especially at warmer 2700K tones—you’ll get a very solid 5000–7000 lumen output. It’s perfect for reading, desk work, or video calls, but it won’t replace overhead ceiling lighting in a large room. If you need room-filling brightness, you might want to pair it with a secondary light source.

Question 2

Does the height adjustment work smoothly, or does it get stuck?

Accepted Answer

Several TikTok reviewers and Reddit users have noted that the telescoping mechanism can feel stiff at first, especially near the middle of its range. This is by design to prevent accidental collapse. If you apply steady, even pressure with both hands, it works fine after a few adjustments. We do recommend loosening the locking collar slightly before extending or retracting. If you’re under 5'4", you likely won’t need the full height anyway.

Question 3

Is the base stable enough for carpet? Will it tip over easily?

Accepted Answer

The base is weighted and feels solid on hard floors. On medium-pile carpet, it sits fine without tipping. However, if you extend the lamp to its maximum 72-inch height, some users report wobble when the lamp is bumped. For stability, we recommend keeping it at 60–65 inches for most reading or work setups. If you have curious pets or kids, you may want to secure the base with a small rug or mat.

Question 4

Can I replace the LED bulb when it burns out?

Accepted Answer

The LED module is integrated—it’s not a standard replaceable bulb. However, the manufacturer rates the LEDs for 50,000 hours of use (that’s about 17 years at 8 hours/day). If you do encounter a failure within the 2-year warranty period, the brand offers a free replacement unit. Some buyers on YouTube have also shown how to access the driver board if you’re handy with electronics, but that voids the warranty.

Question 5

Is the walnut wood real or just a printed finish?

Accepted Answer

The “Black Walnut Wood Finish” is a real wood veneer over an MDF core, not a printed sticker or laminate. A few buyers initially thought it was solid wood, but the veneer gives a genuine wood grain texture and will patina slightly with age. It’s a nice upgrade over all-metal or plastic lamps, but treat it like real wood—use coasters if you put a drink nearby, and avoid placing it in direct sunlight for hours to prevent uneven fading.
