Question 1

Is this set compatible with my specific 6-quart Instant Pot model?

Accepted Answer

Yes, it's designed to fit all standard 6-quart Instant Pot models perfectly, including the Duo, Duo Plus, Ultra, and Pro. The tempered glass lid and silicone cover are precision-engineered to snap securely onto the pot's rim. (A common tip from Reddit users is to double-check your pot's capacity before ordering, as this set will *not* fit 3 or 8-quart models).

Question 2

What can I actually use the glass lid and silicone cover for?

Accepted Answer

They massively increase your Instant Pot's versatility! The glass lid is ideal for slow cooking, sautéing, or keeping food warm without pressure. The clear silicone cover creates an airtight seal for storing leftovers directly in the inner pot in your refrigerator. Many TikTok users show how this set turns their Instant Pot into an all-in-one cooking and storage system.

Question 3

How is the build quality? I've seen comments about wobbly handles or stretching silicone.

Accepted Answer

The set is generally praised for being sturdy and offering great value. The glass is strong, tempered, and oven-safe. Some long-term users note the lid handle screws may need occasional tightening with a small screwdriver—a quick, 30-second fix. The silicone cover can stretch minimally over years of heavy use but maintains its seal. It's dishwasher safe, though handwashing can help preserve its clarity.

Question 4

What's included in the "Set of 4," and are the sealing rings different from the original?

Accepted Answer

You receive four items: (1) Tempered Glass Lid, (2) Silicone Storage Cover, and (3) two Sealing Rings (typically one red, one black). The colored rings are made of the same FDA-approved silicone as the original but are handy for dedicating one to savory dishes and one to sweets to prevent flavor transfer—a favorite hack among home cooks.
