Question 1

Does this toothpaste have a strong minty flavor?

Accepted Answer

TheraBreath Deep Clean has a fresh, mild mint flavor. It's designed to be non-burning and gentle on sensitive mouths. If you're used to or prefer an intense, "icy blast" sensation from toothpastes with strong peppermint oils, you may find this flavor more subtle. Many users with canker sores or sensitivity specifically praise it for being effective without irritation.

Question 2

How effective is the whitening, and will it make my teeth sensitive?

Accepted Answer

This toothpaste focuses on gentle whitening by removing surface stains, not chemical bleaching. Reviews consistently note it provides a gradual, natural brightening without causing sensitivity—a major benefit for users. If your primary goal is dramatic, fast whitening, a dedicated whitening paste may be more aligned with your expectations.

Question 3

Is TheraBreath safe and effective for people with gum issues like gingivitis?

Accepted Answer

Yes, this is one of its most praised benefits. The formula is designed to kill germs associated with plaque and gingivitis. Numerous reviews from users report a significant reduction in gum bleeding, inflammation, and a cleaner feel. Its gentle, non-abrasive nature makes it a popular choice for those maintaining gum health, though for diagnosed conditions, always consult your dentist.

Question 4

What makes this different from regular drugstore toothpaste?

Accepted Answer

TheraBreath is specifically formulated by a dentist to target the sulfur-producing bacteria that cause bad breath at the source, rather than just masking it. It's free from sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) and harsh peppermint oils, which can irritate some people. While it's priced higher than basic toothpastes, users feel the investment is worth it for its clinical approach to oral hygiene, fresh breath longevity, and gentle formula.

Question 5

Can my whole family use this, including kids?

Accepted Answer

TheraBreath Deep Clean contains fluoride for anticavity protection and is gentle enough for most adults and older children. However, it is not specifically formulated for young children under 12. For younger kids, we recommend consulting with their pediatric dentist. Many parents do use it for their teens, especially those concerned about fresh breath and gum health.
