Question 1

Will these panels make my room completely soundproof?

Accepted Answer

Not exactly—and many TikTok users have echoed this point. The TONOR panels are designed for sound absorption (reducing echo and reverb), not soundproofing (blocking noise from passing through). They’re great for clearer audio in game streams or video calls, but won’t stop your neighbor’s bass or street traffic. If true soundproofing is your goal, you’ll need mass-loaded barriers or professional-grade acoustic foam.

Question 2

Do the panels come with everything I need to install them?

Accepted Answer

They include adhesive tape, but based on reviewer experiences, that tape alone isn’t sufficient for most walls. You’ll likely need construction adhesive, nails, or a staple gun for reliable mounting—especially if your wall is textured or painted. Visit our installation guide for recommendations based on your wall type. No drilling is required unless you choose screw-mounting.

Question 3

How many panels do I need for a small room?

Accepted Answer

Here’s a rule of thumb from users: for a 10x10 foot room with standard 8-foot ceilings, expect to need 8 to 12 panels to cover one accent wall. Each panel is 48” x 24” (4 sq. ft.), so measure your wall area and divide by 4. Buy one extra for cutoffs and mistakes. For full-room coverage, plan on at least 20 panels.

Question 4

Can I paint or cut the panels to match my decor?

Accepted Answer

Yes! They’re made from MDF that accepts standard latex or acrylic paint (a popular hack on YouTube). Cutting is easy with a fine-tooth saw or utility knife—many users trim them to fit around outlets or corners. Just note that painting may slightly affect sound-absorbing properties. Always test a scrap piece first.

Question 5

What if the panels arrive damaged or don’t match the photos?

Accepted Answer

We offer 30-day returns on uninstalled panels in original packaging. Some reviewers noted slight variances in wood grain or small scratches from shipping—these happen with natural wood products. If damage exceeds minor handling marks, contact us immediately for a free replacement. Pro tip: open and inspect all panels before starting installation.
