Question 1

Is the "Throw" size big enough for two people to share on a couch?

Accepted Answer

The 50" x 70" Throw size is perfect for single-person lounging or as a lap blanket. For full coverage for two adults on a standard sofa, many customers recommend sizing up to the Twin or Queen version. Checking your couch dimensions against the product specs is the best way to ensure a perfect fit.

Question 2

I've heard these blankets shed. Is that true, and does it stop?

Accepted Answer

It's common for high-pile fleece blankets, including this one, to shed some lint initially. Most users report that this shedding decreases significantly after the first gentle wash (cold water, tumble dry low). Using a lint roller for the first few weeks can help. For minimal shedding, some TikTok users suggest alternatives like Barefoot Dreams blankets, though they come at a higher price point.

Question 3

Is it too warm for summer or for someone who sleeps hot?

Accepted Answer

This is a genuinely warm, heavy blanket. While fantastic for chilly nights and winter, it might be too insulating for hot sleepers or year-round use in warmer climates. If you're looking for a lightweight, breathable blanket for summer, this likely isn't it. Its superpower is delivering exceptional cozy warmth.

Question 4

How does the quality hold up after washing?

Accepted Answer

To maintain the plush softness, strictly follow the care label: machine wash cold on a gentle cycle and tumble dry on low heat. Avoid fabric softeners and bleach. While the blanket is designed for machine washing, some gentle pilling over time is normal with heavy-use fleece. Washing it inside a mesh laundry bag can provide extra protection.

Question 5

Is the UGG branding reflective of the boot quality, and is it worth the price?

Accepted Answer

This is a licensed UGG home product, famous for its ultra-soft, cozy feel rather than the rugged durability of their sheepskin boots. You're paying for that signature plush texture, substantial weight, and stylish design. If pure, luxurious softness is your top priority, reviewers consistently say it delivers. If you're primarily budget-conscious, there are less expensive (but often less soft or heavy) fleece alternatives available.
