Question 1

How many units do I need to cover my yard, and how should I place them?

Accepted Answer

For many yards, place units around the perimeter and space them along entry points. In open spaces, about 15–25 feet apart is common; for larger or irregular layouts, use all four units to cover different borders. Actual coverage varies by terrain and animal activity, so you may adjust placement after a week or two. Many TikTok users noted that placement can make or break effectiveness.

Question 2

Are these solar ultrasonic devices safe for pets and kids?

Accepted Answer

They emit ultrasonic sounds that are generally safe for humans. Pets may be startled—keep units away from sleeping areas and monitor how your dogs or cats react before leaving them nearby.

Question 3

Can they be used in shaded areas or under trees?

Accepted Answer

Solar charging relies on daylight. In full shade or among dense tree cover, charging and deterrent performance can drop. Place units in sunny spots and rotate positions if needed.

Question 4

How durable are they in rain, snow, or wind?

Accepted Answer

They are designed for outdoor use and are weather-resistant. They’re not meant to be submerged; for extreme weather, consider protecting them or bringing them indoors during storms.

Question 5

Do they really deter animals, and how soon will I see results?

Accepted Answer

Results vary by yard and animal activity. Some users notice deterrence within a few days; others see little effect. It often takes a bit of trial and placement adjustment.
