Question 1

How long does it take for the mat to lay flat, and how can I speed up the process?

Accepted Answer

The mat arrives tightly rolled and typically requires 24-72 hours to fully relax and flatten. For best results, unroll it with the textured side facing down on your carpet and place heavy books or flat weights around the edges and center. Many users on forums like Reddit have had success by gently warming the mat with a hairdryer (on low heat) to make it more pliable before weighting it down. Patience during this initial setup is key to a perfect, flat result.

Question 2

Will this mat work on a thick, high-pile carpet? Is the non-slip backing effective?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the textured PVC underside is specifically designed to grip carpet fibers securely and prevent sliding, even on medium- to high-pile carpets. The primary function is to protect your carpet's pile from permanent dents and wear caused by chair casters. Users consistently praise its excellent non-slip performance, noting their chairs roll smoothly without shifting the mat.

Question 3

I have a heavy chair. Is the 2.2mm thickness durable enough, or will it dent?

Accepted Answer

The 2.2mm flexible PVC is designed for standard office and home office chairs. For most users, it provides durable, long-lasting protection. However, some owners of very heavy gaming chairs or chairs with narrow, hard casters have noted slight temporary impressions. If your primary concern is absolute rigidity under extreme weight, you might consider a hard plastic or tempered glass mat. For typical use, this mat offers great value and effective protection.

Question 4

What if the 90x120cm size doesn't fit my workspace?

Accepted Answer

It's crucial to measure your chair's rolling area, not just your desk footprint. The 90x120cm size is ideal for standard rectangular desks. If you have an L-shaped desk or need more coverage, this single size may not be sufficient, and a larger mat or a modular tile system would be a better fit. We recommend mapping out your chair's movement before purchasing to ensure full coverage.

Question 5

What is your return policy if the mat arrives damaged or I can't get it to flatten?

Accepted Answer

We stand by our products. If your mat arrives with manufacturing defects or shipping damage (like deep, permanent creases), please contact our customer support immediately for a replacement or refund. Regarding flattening, please allow the recommended 3-5 day weighting period. If, after a genuine effort, it still will not lay reasonably flat, reach out to us—we're here to help find a solution.
