Question 1

Are these cork sheets thick enough for making coasters or wall decorations?

Accepted Answer

At 0.03 inches, they’re best for lightweight craft projects like gift tags, wedding table numbers, or temporary photo backdrops. For coasters, we recommend gluing them to a sturdy base or sealing them, as they aren’t thick enough to handle moisture alone. Many DIYers on TikTok use them for single-use decor rather than daily items.

Question 2

Do these sheets stick well to walls, or will they peel off?

Accepted Answer

The self-adhesive backing works best on smooth, clean, and dry surfaces like glass, painted drywall, or plastic. On textured walls or curved surfaces (like a laptop lid), you may need extra glue or tape for a secure hold. Some buyers have reported peeling over a few days, so we suggest testing a small corner first.

Question 3

Can I cut these cork sheets easily for custom shapes?

Accepted Answer

Yes, but use a sharp craft knife and a cutting mat for clean edges—scissors can cause fraying. It’s a thin material, so it cuts smoothly with light pressure. If you’re making coasters or intricate shapes, take your time to avoid tearing.

Question 4

Are these sheets suitable for soundproofing or insulation?

Accepted Answer

No. At just 0.03 inches, they offer minimal sound dampening. For noise reduction, look into thicker acoustic foam panels or at least 0.125-inch cork rolls. These sheets are purely for decorative and light craft use.

Question 5

What should I do if the size doesn’t fit my project perfectly after ordering?

Accepted Answer

The sheets measure approximately 11.69 x 8.26 inches, with slight manufacturing variation. If they’re a few millimeters off for your frame or shelf, you can trim them with a blade. For major size issues or damage, please contact our support team—we offer refunds or replacements within 30 days of purchase.
