Question 1

Which controller is this battery compatible with?

Accepted Answer

This battery is only for the Sony PlayStation DualSense Edge Wireless Controller, not for the standard PS5 DualSense (CFI-ZCT1W). One reviewer noted that if it does not fit, you are probably trying to put it into a standard DualSense, since the Edge and standard models use different sized batteries.

Question 2

How much battery life can I expect compared to the original battery?

Accepted Answer

The listing states it is a 3000mAh high capacity battery with higher power than the original. Reviewers reported getting over 6 hours, about 8 hours of continuous use, and much better life than the stock battery, though one reviewer reported a second cycle lasting only 2 hours.

Question 3

Does the battery fit properly inside the controller?

Accepted Answer

Several reviewers said the battery is slightly thicker than the OEM battery, which can cause the USB-C port to be misaligned with the opening and may require some work to fit properly. One reviewer said it fit their original PS5 Edge Controller perfectly without any modifications.

Question 4

Is it easy to install, and are tools included?

Accepted Answer

The listing says all tools to replace the battery are provided and recommends watching the PS5 DualSense Edge Controller Battery Replacement Guide video on YouTube first. Reviewers described installation as relatively simple or easier than expected, and one said the included tools were super useful.

Question 5

What is the warranty and customer service policy?

Accepted Answer

The listing states a 1 year warranty and says there is an after-sales team to serve you if you are not satisfied with the battery.
