Question 1

What's the real-world range like inside a typical home with walls?

Accepted Answer

While the technical range is up to 1000m in open air, real-world performance through walls and floors is the key. Most users find the audio remains clear and reliable for whole-house communication—perfect for chatting between floors or from a home office to the kitchen. However, reaching a detached garage or far corner of a large property with many obstructions may cause signal dropouts. Think of it as a superb whole-home solution rather than an outdoor long-range radio.

Question 2

What exactly is included in the box, and do they come with wall mounts?

Accepted Answer

You should receive two intercom units, two charging cables, and a user manual. Based on user feedback, we double-check that wall mounting brackets are included with every order. If anything is missing from your package, please contact our support team immediately, and we will resolve it for you.

Question 3

How is the battery life, and have there been charging issues?

Accepted Answer

With typical intermittent use (a few minutes per hour), users report a full day's charge. For continuous monitoring, you may need to recharge daily. A small number of early reviews mentioned charging problems. We've worked with the manufacturer to improve quality control, and all units come with a 1-year warranty. To ensure battery longevity, we recommend using the provided cable and avoiding overnight charging every night.

Question 4

Who is this intercom system best suited for?

Accepted Answer

It's ideal for parents wanting to listen in on a napping child's room, caregivers monitoring an elderly family member, or anyone needing quick, clear communication between rooms in a house, apartment, or small workplace like a boutique hotel or cafe. It's less suited for construction sites or large outdoor properties where professional-grade two-way radios would be better.

Question 5

Can I expand the system by buying a single additional unit?

Accepted Answer

This specific model (JY00024) is sold and paired as a set of two. The units are pre-paired at the factory, and adding a third, separate unit to create a three-way network is not supported. If you need a multi-station system, you would need to purchase multiple sets. Many TikTok and Reddit users in larger homes have successfully used two separate pairs in different "zones" (e.g., one pair for upstairs/downstairs, another for the main house/garage).
