Question 1

Will these brushes scratch my expensive stainless steel tumbler or plastic lid?

Accepted Answer

The brushes are designed to be effective yet safe for most surfaces. The silicone/rubber bristles are firm enough to dislodge grime but are not abrasive like metal. However, for extra caution with soft plastics or non-stick coatings, we recommend testing on a small, inconspicuous area first or using a gentler, circular motion. Many TikTok users with Yeti and Hydro Flask cups report no scratching with proper use.

Question 2

What can I actually clean with the three different brush sizes?

Accepted Answer

Perfect for a full kitchen deep-clean! The largest brush tackles wide blender jar threads and large lid seals. The medium brush is ideal for standard travel mug and water bottle lid gaps. The small, pointed brush is your go-to for tiny sippy cup valves, narrow straw openings, and the dreaded rubber gasket in food containers. It's a complete set designed to eliminate the need for toothpicks and pipe cleaners.

Question 3

How durable is the set? Is the brush head secure?

Accepted Answer

The brushes are built with a flexible yet sturdy metal wire core, allowing them to hold their shape under pressure. The brush heads are securely bonded to the handles. While they are very durable for their intended scrubbing purpose, we advise against excessive lateral bending, which could stress the connection—a tip echoed in several user reviews for long-term care.

Question 4

Is this set dishwasher safe, and how do I clean the brushes themselves?

Accepted Answer

Yes! For easy sanitation, you can place the brushes on the top rack of your dishwasher. They can also be quickly cleaned by rinsing with hot, soapy water immediately after use. A common praise point is how easily they rinse clean and dry, preventing any cross-contamination between uses.

Question 5

Who is this brush set NOT ideal for?

Accepted Answer

This set is specifically engineered for wet scrubbing of kitchen crevices. It is not recommended if you are looking for a soft, dry dusting brush for electronics, keyboards, or delicate collectibles. The bristles are designed for scrubbing, not dusting. If your primary need is cleaning dry, fragile areas, a softer detailing brush would be a better alternative.
