Question 1

Does this monitor actually come with an HDMI cable, or will I need to buy one separately?

Accepted Answer

While the monitor supports HDMI, the included cable can be inconsistent. Many users report receiving the promised HDMI cable, but a notable portion find only a VGA cable in the box. We recommend checking your package contents immediately upon receipt. If an HDMI cable is essential for your setup, having one on hand just in case is a smart move to avoid any initial setup delays.

Question 2

Is the 120Hz refresh rate easy to enable, and is it good for gaming?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the 120Hz refresh rate is a real and standout feature for smooth gameplay. To enable it, you'll need to use the monitor's on-screen display (OSD) menu to select the "Extreme" overdrive setting *and* ensure your graphics card settings (like NVIDIA Control Panel or AMD Radeon Software) are configured for 120Hz. Once set up, users on platforms like Reddit praise its performance for casual and competitive gaming, especially when paired with the 1ms (VRB) response time and FreeSync support for reduced screen tearing.

Question 3

I've read about quality control issues like dead pixels. How common is this, and what's the return policy?

Accepted Answer

The vast majority of units perform flawlessly, but as with many budget-friendly monitors, there is a small chance of panel imperfections like dead pixels or backlight bleed. The sentiment online suggests it's a bit of a "panel lottery." We strongly advise testing your monitor thoroughly as soon as you receive it. Our standard return window is 30 days from delivery for a full refund if you encounter any defects, making it risk-free to ensure you get a perfect screen.

Question 4

How limited is the stand? Can I adjust the height or swivel the monitor?

Accepted Answer

The included stand offers tilt adjustment only—it does not provide height, swivel, or pivot (portrait) adjustment. This is a common point of feedback from users who prefer an ergonomic workspace. If you need more flexibility, the good news is that the monitor is VESA mount compatible (100x100mm). You can easily attach it to a wide range of affordable monitor arms or third-party stands for full adjustability.

Question 5

Who is this monitor best suited for, and who might want to consider something else?

Accepted Answer

This monitor is an excellent choice for budget-conscious students, hybrid work-from-home users, and casual-to-moderate gamers who want a vibrant IPS display and high refresh rate without breaking the bank. It's a fantastic "do-it-all" screen on a budget. However, if ergonomic adjustability (height/swivel) is a top priority for you, or if you are highly sensitive to potential minor panel uniformity, you might prefer a model that includes a more robust stand or invest in a VESA arm upfront.
