Question 1

Are the lures inside real, usable fishing gear or just novelty items?

Accepted Answer

Yes, they are absolutely real and usable! The calendar contains brand-name lures and tackle from manufacturers like Yo-Zuri and Eagle Claw. As verified by numerous reviews, anglers have successfully caught fish with them. This is designed to be a fun way to add real, quality lures to any tackle box.

Question 2

How big are the lures? I'm concerned they might be too small.

Accepted Answer

The lures are a mix of sizes, but it's important to manage expectations: these are not full-sized, trophy-catch lures. They are smaller, practical sizes perfect for panfish, trout, or as finesse baits for bass. Many TikTok unboxing videos show them next to a quarter for scale. Think of it as a collection of useful, varied baits rather than 24 large crankbaits.

Question 3

Is this a good gift for someone who is just starting to fish?

Accepted Answer

It's a fantastic gift to generate excitement about fishing! However, be aware it's an "experience" gift more than a "how-to" kit. The recipient will get a great variety of lures to try, but it doesn't include fishing instructions. For a complete beginner, pairing it with a basic fishing guidebook or a gift card for a starter rod/reel combo would be perfect.

Question 4

What is your policy if a lure arrives defective, like with a bent hook?

Accepted Answer

While quality control is high, occasional manufacturing flaws can happen. If you receive a damaged item, please contact our customer support team directly via your order platform with a photo. We are committed to making it right and will typically offer a replacement or partial refund to ensure you're happy with the experience.

Question 5

How is it packaged, and will it arrive in good condition for gifting?

Accepted Answer

The calendar comes in its own festive, illustrated box, ready to wrap or give as-is. It is shipped in an additional protective shipping box. While the vast majority arrive in perfect giftable condition, a small number of social media mentions noted minor corner dings during peak shipping seasons. If giving it for a specific event, ordering a few days early is always a smart move.
