Question 1

Does this fog machine shut off automatically if the fluid runs out?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The manufacturer states it has Low-fluid Auto Shut Off protection that stops the pump within 120 seconds of running dry to prevent damage, unlike traditional machines that can suffer burnout.

Question 2

What type of fog fluid does it use, and is fluid included?

Accepted Answer

It requires water-based fog fluid only; oil-based, low-grade, or tap-water-diluted fluids can clog the heating element. The fluid is not included and must be purchased separately.

Question 3

How much fog does it produce, and is it strong enough for a room?

Accepted Answer

The listing rates it at 4000 CFM reaching 6.5–10 ft, and reviewers confirm it is powerful for the price and can cloud a room very quickly. One reviewer noted it produced so much fog they were asked to turn it off.

Question 4

How bright are the colored lights?

Accepted Answer

Reviews are mixed: one reviewer called the color lights bright and accurate, while another said the lights are a nice touch but not as bright as one might expect given the amount of fog produced.

Question 5

How long does it take to heat up and start producing fog?

Accepted Answer

The listing says preheat takes 1–2 minutes, and a reviewer confirmed that once it heats up it produces a steady stream of fog without interruption.
