Question 1

Is the BACKLAXX cork yoga mat actually non-slip?

Accepted Answer

Reviews are mixed: several customers describe it as very non-slip and secure, while others report slipping hands and feet, especially in poses like downward dog, and one notes the "extreme grip" claim is exaggerated. The listing states the non-slip zones provide optimal grip whether hands are dry or sweaty.

Question 2

Does the mat have a strong smell?

Accepted Answer

Reviewers report only a slight natural rubber smell that they do not find unpleasant or overpowering, and one notes it is minimal and within a good range.

Question 3

How thick and heavy is the mat, and is it good for knees and hips?

Accepted Answer

The listing gives a 4 mm thickness and 2.34 kg weight, with the natural rubber underside providing cushioning to protect hips and knees; reviewers describe it as somewhat heavier but comfortable and not too thick or thin.

Question 4

How do I clean and care for the mat?

Accepted Answer

The listing says cork is easy to clean and anti-bacterial, and recommends simply wiping the mat with a damp cloth after each session and letting it air dry; care instructions specify hand wash only.

Question 5

What is included with the mat?

Accepted Answer

The listing states you receive a free mat strap and exclusive access to a video area with yoga flows to follow along.
