Question 1

How big are these sea animal figures, really?

Accepted Answer

They are truly *miniature*. Most figures range from about 0.5 to 1.5 inches (1.3 to 4 cm) long. The starfish and crabs are on the smaller end, while some fish and turtles are slightly larger. Many TikTok users recommend them for detailed crafts like fairy gardens or small pot decorations, but they might be too tiny as a centerpiece for a large fish tank.

Question 2

Are they safe to use in my aquarium with live fish?

Accepted Answer

We do not recommend placing these figures directly in an aquarium with live fish. While the resin material itself is generally inert, the luminous coating can sometimes feel powdery and may not be permanently sealed. To ensure the safety of your aquatic life, it's best to use ornaments specifically designed and certified for aquarium use.

Question 3

How well do they glow in the dark, and how long does it last?

Accepted Answer

The glow effect is generally good but can vary between figures. For the best results, "charge" them under a bright light for 2-3 minutes. They will emit a soft green glow in total darkness, typically lasting 15-30 minutes before fading. As noted in some reviews, the glow intensity can differ from piece to piece within the set.

Question 4

Are these durable, or do they break easily?

Accepted Answer

They are decorative resin figurines and can be fragile, especially thin parts like crab legs. They are not designed as toys for children. Handle them with care during setup. Several crafters on social media have mentioned that a thin coat of clear sealant or UV resin can add strength if you're concerned about durability for your project.

Question 5

What are these best used for? Who would enjoy them most?

Accepted Answer

These figures are a hit with DIY and craft lovers! They are perfect for creating miniature ocean scenes, decorating potted plants and terrariums, adding to fairy gardens, or using in resin art projects. They offer great value and creativity for the price. They are less suitable for young children's play or as standalone aquarium decor due to their delicate nature and size.
