Question 1

Will this adhesive shower caddy stick to my tile, and how long until it's secure?

Accepted Answer

It works best on smooth, clean, non-porous surfaces like glossy ceramic or glass tile. Avoid textured, matte, or stone finishes—the adhesive pad needs a sealed surface to grip. Once applied, press firmly for 30 seconds and wait a full 24 hours before loading any bottles. Many TikTok users warned they lost shelves by rushing the cure time, so patience pays off.

Question 2

The 40 LBS capacity sounds high. Can I really load each shelf with that much weight?

Accepted Answer

We recommend treating that as the combined capacity for the full 5-pack, not per shelf. The strongest reliability comes from keeping each shelf to 5-8 pounds (roughly 2-3 full-size shampoo bottles). Overloading is the most common reason shelves detach, especially in warm, steamy showers. The adhesive is sturdy, but physics and moisture have limits.

Question 3

Is this truly rustproof? I've seen reviews mentioning rust spots.

Accepted Answer

The stainless steel core is rust-resistant, but the black coating can chip or wear over time, especially if bottles scrape against it daily. In high-humidity bathrooms, some users see tiny rust speckles after a few months. Make sure shelves aren't constantly wet between showers and wipe them dry occasionally for best longevity.

Question 4

I'm renting and can't drill holes. Can I remove these without damaging the wall?

Accepted Answer

Yes, removal is clean. Use a hairdryer on low heat to soften the adhesive pad for 1-2 minutes, then gently pry from one corner. No paint peeling or holes left behind—great for apartment dwellers and security deposits. Just note that the adhesive can't be reused after removal; you'd need a new pad.

Question 5

Are the shelves big enough for large bottles like Costco-sized shampoo or conditioner?

Accepted Answer

Each shelf measures roughly 10 x 4 inches with a side lip of about half an inch. Standard pump bottles and most 12-ounce shampoo bottles fit fine, but big gallon-sized jugs or body wash pump bottles may be too tall or wide. Check the product's exact dimensions before buying, especially if you use bulk family-size products.
