Question 1

Are the discs a true 2 inches in diameter, and are the edges smooth and safe to handle?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Based on numerous customer reviews, the discs are consistently praised for their precise 2-inch diameter. The edges are smoothly finished right out of the package, with no sharp or rough burrs, making them safe and ready to use for crafts, jewelry, or even cake decorating.

Question 2

How thick and rigid are the discs? I'm concerned they might be too flimsy.

Accepted Answer

They are 0.04 inches (approximately 1mm) thick. It's important to note that many users describe them as thin and flexible—like a sturdy plastic chip—rather than a rigid panel. They are perfect for painting, engraving, or decals, but if you need a completely rigid, structural piece, you may want to look for thicker (e.g., 3mm) acrylic blanks.

Question 3

I've seen comments about the protective film being hard to remove. Do you have any tips?

Accepted Answer

This is a common point of feedback. The adhesive on the protective film can be strong. Many crafters on TikTok and Reddit recommend using the point of a craft knife or a pin to gently lift a corner first, which makes peeling much easier. Avoid using your fingernails if possible, and ensure the disc is clean and dry.

Question 4

What are the most popular uses for these discs? Are they good for laser engraving or Cricut projects?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! These blanks are hugely popular in the DIY community for cake toppers, custom coasters, jewelry pendants, ornaments, and miniature signs. They work very well with laser engravers and can be used with Cricut machines for applying vinyl. Their smooth, consistent surface is ideal for both techniques.

Question 5

What happens if my order arrives with scratched or broken discs?

Accepted Answer

While the majority of orders arrive intact, a small number of customers have reported damage due to shipping. The discs are packaged in a simple bag. If you receive any damaged pieces, please contact our customer support team immediately with your order number and a photo, and we will be happy to assist you with a replacement or refund for the affected items.
