Question 1

Is this headset comfortable for long gaming sessions and for people who wear glasses?

Accepted Answer

Most users find the Fachixy headset very comfortable for several hours, thanks to the soft memory foam ear cushions. However, some note that during *very* long sessions (4+ hours), the ears can get warm as the cushions aren't the most breathable. For glasses wearers, the clamp force is generally manageable, but if you have particularly thick frames, you might feel some pressure. A common tip from Reddit users is to take a short break every few hours for optimal comfort.

Question 2

How is the microphone quality, especially for Bluetooth calls versus gaming with the dongle?

Accepted Answer

The microphone performance differs between modes. When using the 2.4GHz dongle for gaming on PS5 or PC, the mic quality is clear and well-regarded by teammates. In Bluetooth mode, however, some users on TikTok and YouTube have noted the quality can drop, sounding a bit more compressed—perfectly fine for casual calls but not ideal for professional meetings or streaming. For the best mic experience, we recommend using the included USB dongle.

Question 3

Does it really work with PS5, and what features are supported?

Accepted Answer

Yes, it is fully compatible with the PS5. When using the 2.4GHz USB dongle, all audio functions work, including game/chat balance (via the headset's controls). The flip-to-mute microphone also functions perfectly on the console. It's a plug-and-play experience that many reviewers have confirmed.

Question 4

What's the real-world battery life, and can I turn off the LED lights to save power?

Accepted Answer

The 50-hour claim is based on using the headset at medium volume with the LED lights turned off (via the dedicated button). With the lights on, you can expect a still-impressive 30-40 hours. A minor point noted by some users: the LEDs cannot be turned off when the headset is charging or used in wired/USB-C mode.

Question 5

How durable is the folding mechanism and overall build?

Accepted Answer

The headset is designed to be portable and foldable, but the build prioritizes lightweight design over premium materials. While functional, some users have mentioned the hinges and adjustment sliders can feel a bit lightweight or develop a slight creak over time. It's durable enough for careful, regular use and travel in a bag, but it may not withstand rough handling. For context, this is a common trade-off in this price range to achieve the foldable feature and long battery life.
