Question 1

Will the Faraday bag physically fit my phone or car key fob? I’ve heard the sizing might be tight.

Accepted Answer

The bag is designed for phones up to 6.7 inches and standard key fobs. That said, many TikTok users noted that thicker phone cases—especially OtterBox-style ones—can make insertion difficult. If you have a large phone with a bulky case, we recommend double-checking the internal dimensions (roughly 7.5 x 4 inches) before purchasing. The pouch works best for slim phones or keys alone.

Question 2

How well does it actually block signals? Can I trust it for key fob theft prevention?

Accepted Answer

For everyday signal blocking—like stopping keyless car entry or preventing data transmission from RFID cards—it works reliably for most users. However, some customers reported inconsistent results if the bag wasn’t fully zipped or if the material got folded. As a few Reddit threads pointed out, it’s not lab-certified military grade, so avoid relying on it in high-security situations. A quick test: put your phone inside, close it, and try calling it—if it goes straight to voicemail, you’re good.

Question 3

The product description says “anti-spying.” Does this also block GPS tracking or microphone access?

Accepted Answer

Great question, and a common point of confusion. The bag blocks wireless signals (radio frequency, Bluetooth, GPS, cellular) when your device is inside and the bag is fully sealed. This means it can stop remote data access or location tracking. However, it does not physically lock your device—someone with direct access can still turn on your phone or plug in a cable. Think of it as a signal cage, not a tamper-proof safe.

Question 4

I heard complaints about the zipper and seams wearing out quickly. Is the build quality decent for the price?

Accepted Answer

Honest answer: the build quality is acceptable for its budget price point, but it’s not rugged. Several YouTube reviewers noted the zipper can snag after a few weeks of daily use, and the stitching around the edges may loosen under heavy bending. If you plan to open and close it multiple times a day, consider it a replaceable consumer item. For occasional travel or bedside use, it holds up fine.

Question 5

What happens if it doesn’t work for my specific device? Can I easily return or exchange it?

Accepted Answer

Our return policy allows refunds within 30 days of delivery. Keep in mind that shipping costs for returns may not be covered, which some buyers found frustrating for such an inexpensive product. We suggest testing the bag as soon as it arrives (the “call test” mentioned above) so you can initiate a return quickly if needed. For faster service, reach out to customer support via email—our agents typically respond within 48 hours.
