Question 1

Will these guide combs fit my specific Philips Norelco OneBlade model?

Accepted Answer

This Guards Kit Plus is designed primarily for the OneBlade Pro 360 and newer models (including the Hybrid and Face + Body). The combs lock securely with a click on these versions. However, many users on Reddit report that the combs feel loose or pop off on older, original OneBlade models. We recommend checking your device's model number before purchasing to ensure a tight fit.

Question 2

The head size jumps from 1mm to 6mm. Can I use this for a detailed fade or beard shaping?

Accepted Answer

Unfortunately, this kit does not include intermediate sizes like 2mm, 3mm, or 4mm. While the 1mm and 6mm guard are useful for all-over trimming and stubble, they are not ideal for precise fades. If you need gradual steps for beard styling, you might need a separate set with more incremental lengths. This kit is better suited for maintaining a single, consistent length.

Question 3

How durable is the plastic? Will the combs crack if I drop them?

Accepted Answer

The material is a rigid, budget-friendly plastic that feels lighter than official Philips combs. Most users find it durable enough for daily use, but several TikTok reviewers noted it "creaks" under pressure and may not survive a hard drop onto tile. We advise handling them with care. The organizer stand is notably lightweight and may tip over easily if bumped.

Question 4

Is the protective cap good for travel, or is it flimsy?

Accepted Answer

The protective cap is included to keep dust off the blade, but it has received mixed feedback. Many users report it does not snap or click into place—it simply rests on the blade. This makes it unreliable for tossing into a gym bag or suitcase, where it may fall off. For travel, we recommend purchasing a separate, secure travel case.

Question 5

I have a newer OneBlade model, but the body comb still feels loose. What do I do?

Accepted Answer

While most newer OneBlade models get a secure fit, manufacturing tolerances can vary. If your body comb feels loose on a compatible model, this may be a defective unit. We offer a standard 30-day return and refund policy for fitment issues. Please contact our support team with a video showing the loose fit for the fastest resolution. Most users find the issue resolved after a replacement.
