Question 1

Is the JBL PartyBox Stage 320 genuinely portable for one person, or is it too heavy?

Accepted Answer

It's designed for "rollable" portability. The telescopic handle and wide wheels make it easy to move on flat surfaces like pavement or hard floors. However, at over 50 lbs, lifting it into a car or up stairs can be a two-person job. Many users on Reddit suggest considering the weight if your parties involve multiple levels or frequent transport.

Question 2

Can I really get 18 hours of battery life, and what affects it?

Accepted Answer

The "up to 18 hours" is a maximum estimate under ideal conditions (low volume, light show off). For a typical party with powerful sound and the full lightshow active, you can expect a very respectable 6 to 10 hours. Managing volume and light modes is key to extending playtime, as noted in many YouTube reviews.

Question 3

How splash-proof is it? Can I safely use it by the pool?

Accepted Answer

It has an IPX4 splash-proof rating, meaning it can handle water splashes from any direction. This makes it safe for poolside use, on a patio in the rain, or at a tailgate. However, it is not waterproof or submersible—so don't drop it in the pool or leave it in a downpour.

Question 4

What's included in the box, and do I need to buy anything else?

Accepted Answer

You get the speaker, the telescopic handle, a power cable, and a basic quick-start guide. Notably, a protective travel cover or a microphone is not included. Based on social media feedback, many buyers immediately purchase a padded cover for transport and a higher-quality mic if they plan to use it for karaoke or announcements.

Question 5

Who is this speaker NOT ideal for?

Accepted Answer

If you need ultra-lightweight portability (e.g., for hiking or beach trips where you carry it far), require studio-quality flat sound for critical listening, or have very close neighbors (it gets *very* loud), this might not be the best fit. It's built for users who want maximum audio-visual impact for gatherings and don't mind a substantial, rollable design.
