Question 1

How many sitz baths can I get from one 10-ounce jar?

Accepted Answer

Most users report getting between 6-10 soaks per jar, depending on how much you use per bath. For reference, the recommended amount is about 1-2 tablespoons. If you're using it multiple times a day during initial recovery, one jar may last about a week.

Question 2

Is the scent strong, and what if I'm sensitive to lavender?

Accepted Answer

The lavender and frankincense blend is generally described as calming and pleasant, not overpowering. However, a small number of reviewers with heightened scent sensitivity postpartum found it too strong. If you are allergic or prefer unscented products, you might consider plain, fragrance-free Epsom salt as an alternative.

Question 3

Can I use this in my peri bottle, or will it clog it?

Accepted Answer

We do not recommend using the bath salts directly in a peri bottle, as the particles and oils could clog the spray mechanism. It's designed to be dissolved in a full sitz bath or bathtub. For a peri bottle, a liquid-focused solution like the Earth Mama Organics Peri Wash is a better fit.

Question 4

How is this different from regular Epsom salt? Is it worth the price?

Accepted Answer

While the base is Epsom salt (magnesium sulfate), this formula is enhanced with lavender and frankincense essential oils for aromatherapy benefits and aloe vera for added skin soothing. The overwhelming feedback is that the specific blend provides superior comfort and a mental wellness boost during recovery, making it a valuable postpartum essential for most. If your primary goal is basic swelling reduction, plain Epsom salt will work, but you'll miss the added soothing and self-care elements many rave about.

Question 5

What if the product doesn't work for me or I have issues with the packaging?

Accepted Answer

Your satisfaction is important. If you receive a jar with a broken seal or any packaging issue, please contact our customer service immediately for a replacement or refund. While individual results can vary, the consensus from nearly 2,000 reviews is that it provides effective, soothing relief. We recommend giving it a try for several soaks as part of your recovery routine.
