Question 1

Can this holder really secure a thick textbook or heavy hardcover book?

Accepted Answer

For very thick or heavy items like large textbooks, this might not be the ideal choice. The adjustable clip is perfect for stacks of paper, thin manuals, or paperback books. However, based on user feedback, heavier hardcovers can sometimes slip. If your primary need is to hold a single, hefty book upright, you may want to look for a holder with a spring-loaded or clamp-style mechanism for a more secure grip.

Question 2

Is the "up to 150 sheets" capacity accurate for everyday use?

Accepted Answer

While the holder can physically accommodate a large stack, the most secure and practical performance is with a smaller bundle. Many users on platforms like Reddit report that it works flawlessly with 20-50 pages. For optimal stability and to prevent page slippage, we recommend using it with a more moderate number of sheets.

Question 3

How sturdy and stable is the build quality on a smooth desk?

Accepted Answer

The frame is made from sturdy metal, which reviewers consistently praise for feeling durable and not cheap. It features non-slip rubber pads on the base. For most surfaces, it stays firmly in place. A small number of users with very smooth glass or glossy desks noted it could slide if adjusted at a steep angle. A simple solution, mentioned by several TikTok users, is to place it on a desk mat or a small grippy pad for absolute stability.

Question 4

Who is this document holder best suited for?

Accepted Answer

It's a fantastic fit for students, remote professionals, and crafters who need to view documents hands-free at an ergonomic angle. It's especially popular among people typing from printed drafts, reading sheet music, or following knitting patterns. The adjustable line guide is a standout feature for keeping your place. It's also great for anyone with limited desk space, as it folds flat for storage.

Question 5

What's included, and what if I have an issue with my order?

Accepted Answer

Your order includes two complete document holders, offering great value. Each unit is ready to use out of the box. The Lawei holder is built to last, but if you receive an item with a minor manufacturing flaw (like a sharp edge on the guide), please contact the seller directly through your Amazon order page. They are generally responsive in resolving such issues, as noted in several customer reviews.
