Question 1

How reliable is the wire-free RTK+Vision navigation under trees or in bad weather?

Accepted Answer

Many users report that the system works well in open yards with a clear view of the sky, but performance can drop under dense tree cover or during heavy rain, as satellite signals may weaken. For best results, we recommend ensuring your yard has minimal overhead obstruction. If you have large, thick trees, some Reddit users have suggested keeping an eye on signal strength during the first few mows.

Question 2

Can it really handle a 45° slope, or is that just marketing hype?

Accepted Answer

The 100% slope (45°) rating applies to dry, well-maintained turf. In real-world tests, the AWD system climbs steep inclines confidently, but wet grass or loose soil can reduce traction. A few YouTube hobbyists noted that on especially steep hills, you may need to adjust the cutting pattern to avoid sliding. It’s a strong performer for most residential slopes, but not a rock-climbing vehicle.

Question 3

How does the battery hold up on a hilly 1.73-acre lawn?

Accepted Answer

The advertised daily coverage of 1.73 acres is based on ideal conditions—flat terrain, dry grass. On hilly or thick lawns, battery drain increases, and you may need to plan for a recharge cycle mid-job. Several early buyers mentioned that their battery life was about 20–30% shorter than expected on steep sections. The mower does return to its charging station automatically, so it can resume once charged.

Question 4

What happens if the mower loses GPS signal while working?

Accepted Answer

The system is designed with Vision navigation as a backup, so it can continue mowing briefly if GPS drops. However, if the signal stays lost, the mower will stop and wait for reconnection. To avoid this, keep the charging station in an open area. Some users on TikTok recommended installing a GPS booster if your yard has persistent dead zones.

Question 5

Is this mower suitable for someone who just wants a simple, no-fuss setup?

Accepted Answer

It’s pretty straightforward—no boundary wires to bury means less physical labor. That said, the initial app setup and zone configuration do require some tech comfort. If you prefer a fully hands-off experience, you’ll likely enjoy it after the first few sessions. But if you’re not comfortable with smartphone controls or troubleshooting connectivity, a simpler wire-based model might be a better fit.
