Question 1

Will these silicone coasters absorb condensation from my cold drink, or just let it pool on top?

Accepted Answer

These are designed as a protective barrier, not a sponge. The raised lip catches condensation and prevents rings on your table, but the silicone itself won’t soak up moisture like stone or ceramic coasters. Many users find this ideal for preventing water damage while keeping cleanup easy—just wipe the liquid away. If you need full absorbency, consider this as a tray-style protector instead.

Question 2

I’ve seen TikTok reviews mention a strong chemical smell. Does this set have that problem?

Accepted Answer

A small number of customers report a mild rubbery odor when first opening the box, especially with the Deep Purple color. This is typical for new silicone products and usually fades within 24–48 hours if you let them air out. The vast majority of our 8,600+ reviews note no lasting smell after a brief airing. For sensitive noses, we recommend washing with mild soap and water before first use.

Question 3

Do these coasters actually stay put on a glass table, or do they slide around when wet?

Accepted Answer

The coasters have a non-slip texture that works well on most dry surfaces, keeping them in place beneath your glass. However, on polished glass or lacquered wood, condensation from a very cold drink can cause slight movement. For best results, pair them with a dry mat or ensure the table surface is clean. Users on matte or wood finishes report excellent grip.

Question 4

The photos show a rich purple, but some buyers say it’s much darker in person. Should I expect that?

Accepted Answer

The Deep Purple color is a deep, elegant shade—think blackberry or midnight plum rather than bright violet. It appears darker under indoor lighting and may read as near-black in dimmer rooms. If you’re matching a specific decor, we advise checking customer photo uploads for real-world color representation. Many find the actual shade more sophisticated than the product images suggest.

Question 5

Can I use these with hot coffee mugs straight from the microwave, or will they warp?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. These silicone coasters are heat-resistant up to high temperatures, so piping hot mugs are perfectly safe. The thickened construction prevents heat transfer to your table and won’t warp, melt, or leave thermal marks. Just avoid direct contact with open flames—they’re made for hot drinks, not stovetop use.
