Question 1

Will this battery work with my Logitech G PRO X Superlight right out of the box?

Accepted Answer

Yes, it’s a direct drop-in replacement—no soldering required. The included connector matches the original, and we also provide precut mouse skates and a pry tool. Just remove the old battery, plug the new one in, and apply the skates carefully. Many modders on Reddit confirm it restores stock battery life to around 70 hours.

Question 2

How do I install the mouse skates without messing up the glide?

Accepted Answer

Take your time. Clean the mouse base with alcohol, then align each skate along the edge of the recessed grooves. Press firmly from the center outward. TikTok users recommend heating them slightly with a hairdryer for better adhesion. If they feel uneven after installation, check that no skate is overlapping the screw holes.

Question 3

Is this battery safe for my mouse, and what if it stops working after I install it?

Accepted Answer

It’s a standard 1.2V NiMH cell designed for the Superlight’s power requirements, so it won’t damage your mouse. For peace of mind, test the battery before installing the skates—your mouse should power on and charge. If you have any issues within 30 days, contact us for a replacement or refund. We’re not responsible for damage caused by forced installation, but proper fit is guaranteed.

Question 4

How long will this battery last on a full charge compared to the original?

Accepted Answer

Users report the same 60–70 hours as the original Logitech battery under normal use (1000Hz polling, standard DPI). Keep in mind that battery chemisty means gradual capacity loss after about 300 cycles—this is typical for all NiMH packs. If you notice shorter life after a year, it’s likely time for another swap.

Question 5

Is this a better value than buying a premium brand like Kailh or Corepad separately?

Accepted Answer

It depends. If you want a budget-friendly, complete kit (battery + tools + skates) for under $15, this is an excellent choice. Users on YouTube note that premium brands offer 0.5–1g weight savings and slightly thicker skates, but they cost 2–3x more. For most casual users, this is perfectly reliable—just don’t expect the skates to last as long as aftermarket PTFE ones.
