Question 1

Is this keyboard and mouse set compatible with Mac computers?

Accepted Answer

The manufacturer states the keyboard is designed for Apple Mac OS systems (MacBook, iMac, Mac Pro) and is not compatible with other systems, while the mouse also works with Apple MacOS/iOS/Windows/Android and can be used separately. Reviewers confirm using it successfully with a Mac mini M4 and Mac mini.

Question 2

How do you connect the keyboard and mouse?

Accepted Answer

The keyboard has three Bluetooth connection modes for up to 3 devices, switched with Fn + BT1/2/3 (long press to pair, short press to switch), and the mouse connects via a BT5.0 channel by long-pressing the back for 3 seconds. Reviewers describe setup as easy and a "doddle," though some note Bluetooth can take a while to connect.

Question 3

Is the typing and clicking quiet?

Accepted Answer

The manufacturer says the keyboard uses a scissor switch mechanism that is quiet and efficient, and reviewers confirm the mouse and keyboard don't make annoying loud clicks, making it suitable for typing and clicking in public.

Question 4

Does it need batteries, and how is it charged?

Accepted Answer

No batteries are required; the keyboard and mouse are rechargeable via the included USB charging cable, with a full charge taking only 2-3 hours.

Question 5

Is it good value compared to Apple's own keyboard?

Accepted Answer

Reviewers repeatedly describe it as cheaper than a Mac original and amazing value for money, with one calling it a brilliant buy and a replacement for Apple's Magic Keyboard, though one reviewer reported the keyboard stopped working after 5 months.
