Question 1

Does the magnetic film really feel like paper, and will it ruin my screen's clarity?

Accepted Answer

It provides a noticeable textured surface that greatly improves grip for drawing and writing, which most users describe as a "paper-like" upgrade from the slick glass. However, this texture does create a permanent matte, grainy effect that reduces screen sharpness and vibrancy. Think of it as a trade-off: fantastic for creation, but not ideal if you primarily watch movies or edit photos on your iPad.

Question 2

Is the magnetic attachment strong enough for daily use, and can I use it with a case?

Accepted Answer

The magnets are generally strong enough to stay securely in place during drawing and writing. However, some users on Reddit have noted the edges can occasionally lift if you frequently slide the iPad in and out of a tight-fitting case. For best results, we recommend placing the film on your bare iPad and then putting on a case that doesn't put pressure on the screen's edges.

Question 3

I keep seeing reviews about wear and scratches. How durable is the film, and will it damage my Apple Pencil tip?

Accepted Answer

The textured surface is designed for friction, which means it can develop a "worn-in" look in heavily used areas over time, much like a favorite sketchbook. This is normal and doesn't affect performance. The texture may also accelerate wear on your Apple Pencil tip compared to drawing on glass. Having spare tips is a good idea for heavy users, as many digital artists recommend.

Question 4

Who is this product actually best for, and who might want to skip it?

Accepted Answer

This film is a game-changer for digital artists, students taking handwritten notes, and anyone who sketches regularly on their iPad. They love the added control. You might want to skip it if you use your iPad mainly for watching videos, gaming, or photo editing, as the clarity loss will likely bother you. It's a tool optimized for creators.

Question 5

What if I install it poorly or just don't like the paper-feel texture?

Accepted Answer

No worries! That's why we include a 2-pack—so you have a backup if installation gets dusty. If you find the texture isn't for you, please contact our customer support. We offer a satisfaction guarantee because we know this product is about a specific feel, and it's not for everyone.
