Question 1

How many devices can I connect to this switcher at once?

Accepted Answer

It connects 3 groups of AV video and audio signal input and 1 group of output to your TV, letting three devices such as a DVD player, game console, or set-top box share one TV.

Question 2

Do I need to plug it into power for it to work?

Accepted Answer

No. It uses a directly external manual switchover design with no connection to power, so it is plug and play with manual switching.

Question 3

Does it come with a cable?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the package contains 1 x AV Switcher Splitter and 1 x 1M AV Cable.

Question 4

How is the build quality of the switcher?

Accepted Answer

Reviews are mixed: some describe it as good quality and working well, while others call it slightly flimsy, cheaply made, or note the inputs seem to have a shortage that requires wrestling with it.

Question 5

Does it work well for connecting multiple devices like game consoles and DVD players?

Accepted Answer

Many reviewers report it works great for their needs, including hooking up a DVD, Blu-ray, and Wii to a TV without RCA ports, though one reviewer noted loud static noise when a gaming PC and a Mac were both plugged in and powered on.
