Question 1

Can the LED strip lights be controlled with a phone app?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The lights support both app control and an IR remote, and the app lets you set brightness, colour, mode and a timing function. One reviewer said the app works very well and found control via smartphone easy.

Question 2

Do the lights change colour in time with music?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The built-in microphone makes the lights change colour with the rhythm of sound or music, which one reviewer highlighted as great for parties, gaming setups or relaxing evenings.

Question 3

Are the lights easy to install and stick to surfaces?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The strip has strong adhesive tape on the back and can be stuck onto a clean, dry, smooth surface, and it is flexible enough to fit into corners. Reviewers described it as easy to assemble and stick to the wall, easy to fit, and noted super adhesion.

Question 4

Can the strip be cut to a shorter length?

Accepted Answer

Yes, it has a cuttable design, and you can cut off the excess at the cutting line if you don't need it that long. Note that connectors are required after cutting, and the product does not include connectors.

Question 5

How reliable are these lights over time?

Accepted Answer

Reviews are mixed. One reviewer reported their first set still working after 8 months, another said theirs still worked 2 years after purchase, but others received faulty sets where some colours did not work, including a section that failed to flash green and a set where the red LEDs stopped working.
