Question 1

As a complete beginner to safety razors, is this a good choice for me?

Accepted Answer

This razor offers fantastic value and a superb shave, but it has a learning curve. Many TikTok and Reddit users note that the included blades can feel aggressive for first-timers. We recommend it for beginners who are patient, willing to watch a few technique tutorials, and start with gentle, no-pressure strokes. If you want a milder, more beginner-ready option out of the box, you might consider a dedicated starter razor like the Merkur 34C.

Question 2

I’ve seen comments about loose threading. How is the build quality?

Accepted Answer

The vast majority of our razors are solidly constructed from durable zinc alloy with a chrome finish, and users consistently praise their heft and feel. However, as with any mass-produced item, a small percentage may have quality control issues, such as imperfect threading. If you receive a unit with a wobbly head or loose handle, our customer service team will promptly arrange a replacement or refund. The knurled grip is widely appreciated for providing excellent control, even with wet hands.

Question 3

What is the handle length, and who is it best suited for?

Accepted Answer

The handle is approximately 4 inches (10 cm) long. This "long handle" design is a favorite among many users, particularly for shaving legs or larger areas, as it provides great leverage and control. It's also excellent for those with larger hands or anyone who prefers not to grip closely to the razor head. Its balanced weight makes it suitable for both men and women seeking a close, classic shave.

Question 4

Are the included blades any good, and what other blades can I use?

Accepted Answer

The 10 included double-edge blades are a great way to start. However, blade preference is highly personal. Many experienced shavers on forums suggest trying a sampler pack of different brands (like Astra, Feather, or Derby) to find your perfect match. This razor uses the standard double-edge blade format, so it is compatible with hundreds of blade brands available worldwide, allowing you to customize your shave.

Question 5

What is your return policy if I don't get a close shave or have issues with the razor?

Accepted Answer

We stand by our products. If you're unsatisfied with your shave or encounter any manufacturing defects (like loose threading), you can contact our support within 30 days of delivery for a hassle-free return or exchange. We want you to be completely happy with your switch to a sustainable, cost-effective shaving method. Please note that for hygiene reasons, the razor must be returned in its original, unused condition.
