Question 1

How strong are the magnets, and will the tray stay closed in my bag?

Accepted Answer

Magnet strength can vary slightly between individual trays, as noted in several user reviews. Most hold securely when folded, but we recommend placing it in a dedicated pouch or compartment if your bag is very full to prevent accidental opening. For everyday transport to game nights, users find them perfectly reliable.

Question 2

Can I really use this as a storage box, or is it just a rolling tray?

Accepted Answer

It's best thought of as a *portable* rolling tray that can also hold your dice. While it closes magnetically, the interior is a single open space—your dice will move around freely inside. If you're looking for organized, compartmentalized storage, a dedicated dice case would be a better fit. Many TikTok and Reddit users love it for tossing their favorite set in before heading out.

Question 3

What is the build quality like? Is the material durable?

Accepted Answer

The trays are made from PU leather over a stiff board, with a soft felt lining. They are designed to be lightweight and portable, offering great value. While they feel sturdy for rolling dice, some users on forums have expressed they might not withstand extreme rough handling over many years. For regular tabletop use, they hold up very well.

Question 4

Who is this 4-pack of dice trays best suited for?

Accepted Answer

This set is ideal for Dungeon Masters who need to provide rolling surfaces for a group, friends who want to color-coordinate, or players who value portability above all else. It's a fantastic, budget-friendly solution for game nights away from home. If you need a single, premium-feeling tray for a permanent home setup, you might consider a heavier wooden or silicone option.

Question 5

How many standard-sized dice can fit inside one tray?

Accepted Answer

Each unfolded tray measures approximately 7.5 x 5.5 inches. You can comfortably roll a standard 7-dice D&D set with plenty of room. For storage, you can typically fit 20-30 standard dice (like Chessex sets) inside when folded closed, though they will lie in a loose pile. The sides are designed to contain rolls, not for deep storage stacking.
