Question 1

Is this spray safe for babies and young children?

Accepted Answer

It's formulated to be gentle enough for kids, thanks to its DEET-free citronella and lemongrass base. That said, most pediatric guidance recommends avoiding essential-oil repellents on infants under 2 months, and many parents choose to wait until toddler age. A quick patch test on the inner arm is always a smart first step — plenty of parents on Reddit mention doing this before full use.

Question 2

How long does one application actually last, and will I need to reapply often?

Accepted Answer

In mild settings like a backyard BBQ or evening walk, most users get around 1–2 hours of solid protection. In heavy mosquito areas — lakesides, dense woods, dusk in humid climates — you'll likely need to reapply every 30–45 minutes. TikTok reviewers are pretty honest about this: it's a great natural option for light exposure, but it's not a DEET-level shield for deep wilderness.

Question 3

Does it feel greasy or leave a residue on skin and clothes?

Accepted Answer

Nope — this is one of the most-praised features. The formula absorbs quickly and leaves a light, hydrated finish rather than a sticky or oily film. It also plays nicely under sunscreen and won't stain most fabrics, though it's always wise to let it dry fully before dressing.

Question 4

How does it compare to DEET sprays, and who is it really best for?

Accepted Answer

Think of it as a gentler everyday option rather than a DEET replacement. It's ideal for parents, sensitive-skin users, and casual outdoor time — patios, parks, travel, kids' play. If you're heading into high-mosquito territory like camping or tropical travel, many users suggest pairing it with permethrin-treated clothing or keeping a picaridin backup on hand.

Question 5

What if it doesn't work for me — can I return it, and is the 100ml size worth it?

Accepted Answer

Return eligibility depends on the retailer, so it's worth checking the specific store's policy before buying — most major platforms offer a 30-day window for unopened or gently used items. As for value: the 100ml bottle is carry-on friendly and lasts a few weeks with normal use, but if you're a frequent reapplier, consider grabbing a second bottle or sizing up. Frequent users often say the convenience and gentle formula justify the price.
