Question 1

Is the stainless steel interior really as easy to clean and odor-proof as reviews say?

Accepted Answer

Yes, this is the most consistently praised feature. Unlike plastic, which can absorb odors and scratch over time, the non-porous stainless steel tub can be wiped down with disinfectant in seconds and won't retain smells. Many Reddit users have called it a "game-changer" for multi-cat households for this exact reason.

Question 2

I have a large breed cat (like a Maine Coon). Will it be spacious enough?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. The "XXL" designation is accurate, and this box is frequently recommended in online forums specifically for large and giant cat breeds. The 60-litre capacity provides ample room for them to turn around comfortably. The full closure design also accommodates taller cats without issue.

Question 3

How effective is the odor control, and what's the deal with the filters?

Accepted Answer

The activated carbon filter in the lid helps neutralize odors as air passes through it, and the enclosed design contains litter scatter. It's highly effective for daily use, but as some TikTok reviewers note, it may not be 100% airtight for extremely potent waste. For best results, pair it with a good clumping litter. The filter typically lasts 4-6 weeks and standard replacements are widely available online.

Question 4

Is assembly difficult, and how sturdy is the plastic door?

Accepted Answer

Assembly is straightforward for most, with clear instructions. However, a common note from user reviews is to take care when installing the plastic door and its sliding track, as this is the part that can feel less robust than the steel body. The door is removable if your cat prefers it open, and ensuring the track is aligned correctly during setup prevents most issues with smooth operation.

Question 5

The product looks heavy. Is it manageable to clean and empty?

Accepted Answer

The stainless steel construction is durable but has some weight to it. When full of litter, the unit can be heavy to lift and carry. Many owners find it easiest to empty the litter first before moving the box for a full clean. If you have mobility concerns, placing it in its permanent location first is recommended. The included handles do aid in carrying.
