Question 1

Will this hub assembly set definitely fit my 2003-2007 Volvo XC90?

Accepted Answer

Yes, but attention to detail is key. This set is specifically engineered for 2003-2006 Volvo XC90 models, and for 2007 models with a chassis number up to #367133. We recommend double-checking your vehicle's chassis number (VIN) before ordering to ensure a perfect fit, which the vast majority of installers report.

Question 2

I've seen a few reviews mention receiving damaged parts or quick failures. How common is this and what's your support like?

Accepted Answer

While the overwhelming majority of our customers report flawless performance, we take any quality issue seriously. Critical defects are rare but can happen with any mass-produced auto part. We offer a robust warranty and a straightforward return process for defective items. If you encounter a problem, our support team is here to help resolve it quickly.

Question 3

What's included in the box, and will I need to buy anything else for the installation?

Accepted Answer

Each side's hub assembly comes complete with the bearing, wheel studs, ABS sensor, and a new axle nut—everything you need to replace the old unit. You won't need additional parts for the hub itself. However, as some DIYers on forums note, if your vehicle is rusty, you may need penetrating oil, a torque wrench, and possibly a new axle nut if you plan to re-use the old one during press-out.

Question 4

How does the quality and durability compare to a much more expensive OEM Volvo part?

Accepted Answer

TRQ hubs are designed to meet or exceed OEM specifications for fit and function. Most users find they restore quiet, smooth operation for many miles. While a genuine Volvo part may offer marginal longevity benefits for some drivers, the consensus among reviewers is that this set provides exceptional value and reliable performance for the price, making it an ideal solution for most owners.

Question 5

Is this a good choice for a first-time DIYer looking to replace their own wheel hubs?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Many first-timers in online communities have successfully completed this job. The hub is a complete "bolt-on" unit, which simplifies installation significantly. The main challenge, as noted in many reviews, is often removing the old, seized hub—not installing the new one. With proper tools (like a good breaker bar and torque wrench) and a quality repair guide, it's a very achievable weekend project that saves hundreds in labor costs.
