Question 1

Will the AirFly SE work with my specific devices, like my Peloton, Nintendo Switch, or older TV?

Accepted Answer

Yes, it's designed for universal compatibility. The AirFly SE works with any device that has a standard 3.5mm aux jack. This includes in-flight entertainment systems, most TVs, treadmills, Peloton bikes, Nintendo Switch in handheld mode, and even older car stereos. As long as there's a headphone port, you can likely use it.

Question 2

I’ve heard about occasional audio cutouts. Is this a common issue?

Accepted Answer

For most users, the connection is very stable. However, in environments with many competing Bluetooth signals—like a packed airplane or a busy gym—some users report brief, intermittent cutouts. This is a limitation of the Bluetooth standard itself in congested areas. For typical use at home or in a car, it's reliably solid.

Question 3

What’s the real-world battery life, and can I use it while charging?

Accepted Answer

The 20+ hour claim is consistently backed by user reviews, with many confirming it lasts through multiple long international flights. The battery charges fully in about an hour. Note that it cannot be used while charging (passthrough charging), so it's best to charge it between uses.

Question 4

What’s the difference between the AirFly SE and the AirFly Pro, and which should I get?

Accepted Answer

The key difference is dual-audio capability. The AirFly SE connects one pair of Bluetooth headphones to one aux jack—perfect for solo listening. The AirFly Pro can connect two pairs of headphones simultaneously, ideal for sharing audio with a travel partner. If seamless two-person listening is your main goal, the Pro is worth the upgrade. For solo use, the SE is excellent and more affordable.

Question 5

Is it easy to set up, and does it work with non-Apple Bluetooth headphones?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! Setup is straightforward: hold the button to pair with your headphones once, and it typically reconnects automatically. It works flawlessly with any Bluetooth headphones or earbuds, including brands like Sony, Bose, and Samsung. Many TikTok users have shown it working perfectly with their favorite non-Apple gear.
