Question 1

Is this cleaner truly effective for clear aligners like Invisalign, and will it damage them?

Accepted Answer

Yes, this is its most praised use! Based on thousands of reviews, users consistently report it makes aligners and retainers feel fresh and crystal clear. The 45kHz ultrasonic waves are safe for plastic and provide a deep clean without the scratching risk of manual brushing. For best results, many TikTok users recommend pairing it with a dedicated retainer cleaning tablet.

Question 2

What items is it NOT suitable for? I've seen it advertised for jewelry and more.

Accepted Answer

While it works wonderfully for small, non-porous items like simple rings or earrings, manage your expectations for larger or heavily soiled objects. Social media feedback indicates it's not powerful enough for large metal tools, greasy parts, or delicate organic gems like pearls. Its primary strength is dental appliances, and the 200ml basin is quite compact.

Question 3

How is the build quality and durability? I've seen mixed comments.

Accepted Answer

The majority of users find it reliable for daily use with aligners. However, a common note from long-term reviewers is to handle the lid and single button gently, as these are the parts most mentioned in rare durability complaints. To ensure longevity, avoid slamming the lid and keep the unit unplugged when not in use.

Question 4

What do I need to use with it? Does it come with a basket or cleaning tablets?

Accepted Answer

The machine comes with the main unit and a power cord. It does *not* include a protective basket or cleaning tablets. Many Reddit users suggest purchasing a small mesh basket separately to prevent items from touching the bottom. For cleaning, most agree that using a specialized tablet (like Polident or Retainer Brite) in warm water yields far better results than water alone.

Question 5

Who would get the most value out of this specific cleaner?

Accepted Answer

This cleaner is a perfect, space-saving solution for anyone who regularly wears a dental appliance—clear aligners, retainers, night guards, or mouthguards. It's also great for sanitizing small personal items like toothbrush heads or piercings. If you need to clean large items, multiple things at once, or expect industrial-grade durability, you might want to consider a larger, more heavy-duty model.
