Question 1

How clear is the video at night or in low light? I’ve seen some comments about graininess.

Accepted Answer

The 1080P HD resolution is crisp in well-lit rooms, but like many budget hidden cameras, night vision can appear slightly grainy or soft in complete darkness. For best results, keep a small lamp on in the room. If night clarity is a top priority, you might consider a dedicated security cam with a larger sensor, but for daytime or dimly lit use, this camera performs well for its price.

Question 2

Does the WiFi connection stay reliable, or does it drop often?

Accepted Answer

Most users find the connection stable within 30 feet of the router. However, a small number have reported intermittent drops, especially in homes with thick walls or many connected devices. If you experience issues, try placing the camera closer to your router or using a WiFi extender. The 2.4GHz band (not 5GHz) offers the best range and stability for this model.

Question 3

Can I set it up without being a tech expert? I’ve heard the app can be tricky.

Accepted Answer

The 3-mode setup is designed to be straightforward, but we recommend following the included quick-start guide step by step. Many users find it takes about 10–15 minutes the first time. If you get stuck, the app includes a live chat support button. As a tip: make sure your phone is on the same 2.4GHz network before beginning.

Question 4

Will this camera block the second outlet on my wall?

Accepted Answer

The charger body is slightly wider than a standard phone charger, so it may partially cover an adjacent outlet. If you have a side-by-side duplex outlet, you might lose access to the second plug. We suggest using a small power strip or an extension cord if you need both sockets free. The trade-off is that the bulky shape helps it look like a normal fast charger, keeping the camera discreet.

Question 5

What’s the return policy if it doesn’t work for my situation?

Accepted Answer

We offer a 30-day return window from the date of delivery, no questions asked. If the camera has a hardware defect (e.g., doesn’t power on or record), we cover return shipping and issue a full refund. For change-of-mind returns, you’ll cover return shipping, and refunds are processed once the item is received back in original condition. Most customers find the policy fair for testing it out.
