Question 1

I have smaller ears and many earbuds don't fit me. Will the AirPods Pro 2 stay in securely, especially for workouts?

Accepted Answer

Fit is personal, but the AirPods Pro 2 come with four sizes of silicone tips (XS, S, M, L) to help you find a secure seal. For many, this works great for daily use and light exercise. However, a common note from social media reviewers is that those with very small or uniquely shaped ear canals sometimes still struggle. If a secure, gym-proof fit is your top priority, you might also want to consider the Beats Fit Pro, which have a built-in wingtip. We recommend testing the fit during the return period.

Question 2

How is the battery life after a year or more of daily use? I've heard some wireless earbuds degrade quickly.

Accepted Answer

Based on long-term user reports, the battery will experience normal degradation with daily charging cycles. Many users report still getting 4-5 hours of listening with ANC on after 12-18 months, but some note the charging case itself may not hold a charge as long as when new. For the heaviest users, this is a point to consider. Apple offers a battery service if capacity drops below 80%.

Question 3

I use an Android phone and a Windows laptop. Am I wasting money on features I can't use?

Accepted Answer

You'll still get excellent core functionality: high-fidelity sound, active noise cancellation, transparency mode, and hands-free "Hey Siri" (on iPhone only). However, you will miss key Apple-exclusive features like seamless automatic switching between devices, personalized Spatial Audio with head tracking, and the full precision of the Find My network. If those ecosystem features are a major selling point for you, alternatives like the Google Pixel Buds Pro or Sony WF-1000XM5 might offer a more complete experience for your devices.

Question 4

Is the upgrade from the original AirPods Pro worth it?

Accepted Answer

For most users, yes—the improvements are significant. Reviews consistently highlight better noise cancellation, richer sound quality with more bass, significantly improved transparency mode, and the convenience of USB-C charging. The new H2 chip also enables features like Volume Control via the stem and longer battery life. If your Gen 1 buds are still working well, it's not a mandatory upgrade, but if you're buying new or your old ones are failing, the Gen 2 model is the clear choice.

Question 5

The case looks pristine in photos. How does it hold up to daily wear and tear in a pocket or bag?

Accepted Answer

This is a frequent point of feedback. The glossy white plastic case is prone to picking up minor scratches and scuffs from everyday carry with keys or other items. Many TikTok and Reddit users show their cases with visible wear after a few months. It functions perfectly, but if you're someone who prefers your gear to look mint, you may want to consider a protective sleeve or case from day one.
