Question 1

Is Astroglide safe to use with my silicone toys and condoms?

Accepted Answer

Yes, absolutely. As a water-based lubricant, Astroglide is universally compatible and safe for use with silicone toys, latex and polyisoprene condoms, and polyurethane barriers. Many reviewers specifically praise it as their go-to lube for toy play without any damage or degradation.

Question 2

I'm prone to yeast infections. Is this lube a good choice for me?

Accepted Answer

We recommend checking the ingredients carefully. Astroglide contains glycerin and propylene glycol, which can, for some individuals, disrupt natural pH balance and potentially lead to yeast infections or irritation. A common sentiment in user discussions is that those with sensitivity often have better luck with glycerin- and paraben-free alternatives like Sliquid H2O.

Question 3

A lot of reviews mention it getting sticky. How do I prevent that?

Accepted Answer

The "sticky" feeling typically occurs as the water in the formula evaporates. The great news is that it's water-soluble! A simple spritz of water from a spray bottle will reactivate the slickness instantly. Many experienced users keep a small spray bottle nearby for longer sessions. A little also goes a long way—starting with less and adding more as needed can help.

Question 4

Is the 12oz pump bottle good value, or will it expire before I finish it?

Accepted Answer

The 12oz size is consistently highlighted in reviews as an excellent value for money, especially for couples or regular users. To maximize its lifespan and prevent the pump from clogging, store the bottle upright in a cool, dry place. While it doesn't have a short expiration, using it within a year of opening is a good practice for optimal quality.

Question 5

Does it stain sheets or clothing, and is it easy to clean up?

Accepted Answer

One of the top benefits users mention is that Astroglide is clear and does not stain fabrics. As a water-based formula, it washes out easily from skin, sheets, and clothing with just soap and water, making cleanup very straightforward.
