Question 1

How easy is the installation?

Accepted Answer

Multiple reviewers describe the installation as extremely easy or super easy, though one notes the instructions could be clearer and another says the translated instructions are difficult to follow for setting the distance. The listing states it is quick and hassle-free for DIY, requires no wiring or power outlets, and is compatible with chain-operated standard home toilets.

Question 2

Does it work reliably over time?

Accepted Answer

Several reviewers report problems over time: one had incessant flushing after two months, another had random flushing starting around three months, one stopped syncing to the remote after about four months, and one reports it no longer works. Others report it still working well at four months with batteries going strong.

Question 3

Can it flush randomly or too often?

Accepted Answer

Yes, reviewers report random or constant flushing, and one notes the sensor can be too sensitive and self-flush if any object, even an inert one like a wall, is near it. One reviewer says changing the batteries helps temporarily, and another says adjusting the distance setting properly is important to avoid random flushing.

Question 4

How does the sensor and remote work?

Accepted Answer

The listing says it uses optical sensor technology with an 11.81 inch (30cm) sensor range for touchless flushing, and offers two modes: motion-activated flush and manual remote flush with a remote range of 120 inches (300cm). One reviewer notes the IR sensor works fine after adjusting to location, with three sensitivity levels indicated by light colors.

Question 5

Will it fit my toilet?

Accepted Answer

The listing states it is compatible with standard home toilets and can be installed on toilets with chain-operated mechanisms. One reviewer notes it does not allow the tank lid to properly seat when installed.
