Question 1

Is this pillow safe for a 12-month-old, or is it better for older toddlers?

Accepted Answer

The Baby Works Toddler Pillow is designed for ages 12 months and up, but many TikTok parents and reviewers note it works best for toddlers 18 months and older. The firm memory foam provides excellent support, but younger or very active sleepers may roll off. If your child is just starting with a pillow, try placing it under the crib sheet first to ease them in.

Question 2

How does the memory foam feel—is it soft or firm?

Accepted Answer

It's a supportive memory foam, not a plush, cloud-like pillow. Chiropractor-recommended and designed to maintain proper alignment, it's firmer than typical toddler pillows. Some Reddit users mentioned it took a few nights for their child to adjust, while others loved the support immediately. If you're looking for a super soft feel, this may be firmer than expected.

Question 3

Can you wash the pillow and cover easily?

Accepted Answer

The removable bamboo cover is machine washable and tumble-dry safe—parents love this for spills and messes. The memory foam itself is not machine washable; spot clean only and air dry. A few YouTube reviews noted the cover can pill after multiple washes, so using a gentle cycle and cold water helps maintain its softness.

Question 4

Will this pillow fit a standard crib or toddler bed?

Accepted Answer

Yes, it's sized to fit most standard cribs and toddler beds without being too large or bulky. It's more compact than a regular pillow, which helps prevent your child from sliding off. That said, some parents on Facebook groups said it felt a bit thick for a standard crib mattress, so measure your child's sleep space if you're unsure.

Question 5

What if my child doesn't like it—can I return it?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. The Baby Works offers a satisfaction guarantee with free returns within 30 days of purchase, as long as the pillow is in like-new condition. Many buyers mention this policy made them feel comfortable trying it out, especially given mixed reviews on firmness. If your toddler doesn't adjust after a week, it's easy to send back.
