Question 1

How bright is the glow and how long does it last after charging?

Accepted Answer

When charged under a bright light (sunlight or a UV light works best), these beads emit a vivid, magical glow. Based on user feedback, the glow is strongest immediately after charging and remains clearly visible in a dark room for roughly 30-60 minutes, gradually fading. For the brightest effect, many crafters on TikTok recommend "charging" them with a UV flashlight for a minute right before use.

Question 2

What kind of cord or string should I use with the 5mm hole?

Accepted Answer

The large, 5mm hole is a standout feature that makes these beads incredibly easy to thread, perfect for beginners and kids. You'll need a thicker cord like 4-5mm leather, satin, or cotton cord, paracord, or even narrow ribbon. They are not suitable for standard thin beading wire or thread. This design is ideal for chunky bracelets, keychains, and suncatchers.

Question 3

Are the beads durable and safe for children's jewelry?

Accepted Answer

Yes, they are generally considered safe and durable for crafts. The beads are glass with a luminous coating and a solid brass core. They are sturdy for their purpose, but like most glass beads, they can chip if dropped on a hard surface. The silver-tone brass cores are smooth, but as with any craft item, adult supervision is recommended for very young children. They are perfect for making fun, glow-in-the-dark accessories.

Question 4

Can I choose specific colors, or is the mix random?

Accepted Answer

The beads are sold as a pre-mixed assortment, so specific color selection isn't available. Reviews show the mix typically includes a variety of the beautiful lampwork-style colors like blues, greens, pinks, and purples, along with some translucent and milky white beads. Each batch may vary slightly, which adds to the unique, handmade charm of every project.

Question 5

What if I receive beads with flaws like chips or cracks?

Accepted Answer

While the vast majority of beads arrive in perfect condition, given the handmade nature and quantity (100 pieces), an occasional minor flaw is possible. Most crafters find the value and number of usable beads excellent. However, if you receive a significant number of damaged beads, we recommend contacting the seller directly through your order platform—they are generally responsive to quality concerns based on customer feedback.
