Question 1

Do the Beats Solo 4 come with active noise cancellation?

Accepted Answer

No, they don’t. These are wireless on-ear headphones, not noise-cancelling. Many TikTok reviewers and Reddit users have flagged this confusion. The Solo 4 rely on a snug fit for passive isolation, which works decently in quiet spaces but won’t block out a noisy coffee shop or airplane engine. If ANC is a must, consider the Beats Studio Buds+ or Sony WH-1000XM5 instead.

Question 2

How's the battery life in real-world use?

Accepted Answer

Excellent—most users report hitting the full 50-hour mark with moderate volume. YouTube reviewers have tested it with continuous playback and confirmed it easily lasts a week of daily commuting. The Fast Fuel feature gives you one hour of playback from a 10-minute charge, which is handy for forgetful mornings. Just note that using spatial audio or higher volume will drain it faster.

Question 3

Are these comfortable for all-day wear?

Accepted Answer

Generally yes, especially for on-ear headphones. The ultra-lightweight frame and cushioned ear pads make them easy to wear for 4–5 hours straight without pressure soreness. However, some Reddit users with larger heads mention the clamping force feels snug after extended use. If you wear glasses, test the fit first—the on-ear design can press frames against your temples.

Question 4

How do they compare to the Beats Solo 3? Are they worth upgrading?

Accepted Answer

The Solo 4 bring meaningful upgrades: USB-C charging, a more balanced sound profile (less overwhelming bass), and improved spatial audio support. The build and design are nearly identical—same plastic hinges that some users worry about. If your Solo 3 still work well, the upgrade isn't urgent. But if you want better clarity for podcasts and a future-proof connector, the Solo 4 are a solid step forward.

Question 5

What's the return process if they don't fit or I change my mind?

Accepted Answer

It depends on where you buy. Directly from Apple or Beats, you typically have 14–30 days for a full refund (check the exact window at checkout). Most major retailers like Amazon and Best Buy offer 30-day returns for opened headphones. A few YouTube reviewers have noted that returning due to "fit preference" is accepted, but custom engraved units are final sale. Always save the original box and accessories.
