Question 1

Is this mini PC powerful enough for modern gaming and professional software?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. The AMD Ryzen 9 6900HX with its powerful RDNA 2 graphics is a standout in its class. Based on user feedback, it handles modern AAA games very well at 1080p and can manage 1440p with adjusted settings. For professionals, the 32GB of fast RAM and 1TB NVMe SSD make it excellent for multitasking, video editing, coding, and CAD work. Many reviewers on YouTube were shocked by the performance packed into this compact size.

Question 2

How loud does it get, and does it run hot?

Accepted Answer

Under normal office or media tasks, it's very quiet. However, during extended, heavy gaming sessions or intense computational workloads, the cooling fans will ramp up audibly to manage heat, and the chassis can get warm—a common trade-off for such a powerful mini PC. If a near-silent operation under max load is critical for you, you might want to explore mini PCs with advanced cooling solutions.

Question 3

Can I upgrade the RAM or add another SSD later?

Accepted Answer

This is important to know upfront: the 32GB of LPDDR5 RAM is soldered onto the motherboard and cannot be upgraded. There is one M.2 2280 slot for a PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD, which is occupied by the included 1TB drive. You can replace this SSD with a larger one (up to 2TB or 4TB, depending on BIOS support), but you cannot add a second internal drive. Many Reddit users recommend buying the storage configuration you'll need for the long term.

Question 4

What's included in the box, and is Windows pre-installed?

Accepted Answer

You'll receive the BOSGAME P6 Mini PC, a power adapter (VESA mount plate and screw kit are typically included, but double-check the listing). A licensed, activated version of Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed on the SSD—it's not a trial. You just need to complete the initial setup. As some TikTok unboxers noted, you'll need to provide your own monitor, keyboard, and mouse.

Question 5

Who is this mini PC NOT ideal for?

Accepted Answer

While versatile, it might not be the best fit if: 1) You plan to frequently upgrade components—the soldered RAM is a limitation. 2) You need absolute silence in a recording or bedroom environment under full load. 3) You require extensive, hands-on customer support from a well-known brand. It's a fantastic value-for-performance product for gamers, professionals, and tech enthusiasts who understand its design trade-offs.
