Question 1

Is the XXL size truly big enough for my large breed cat (like a Maine Coon)?

Accepted Answer

The exterior dimensions are 60 x 40 cm, providing ample space for most large cats. However, based on user feedback, if your cat is exceptionally long (over 22-24 inches from nose to tail base) or has mobility issues, we recommend measuring their length while in a typical posture. Many happy customers with large breeds find it roomy, but a few with the very largest cats suggested checking your specific measurements against the interior space.

Question 2

How effective is the odor control, really?

Accepted Answer

Extremely effective. The sealed, closed design with a built-in carbon filter (where applicable) and the non-porous stainless steel material are the key factors. Social media reviews and product testimonials consistently highlight this as the top benefit, with users in multi-cat households and apartments noting a dramatic reduction in litter box smell.

Question 3

Is the stainless steel easy to clean and will it rust?

Accepted Answer

Yes, and it's highly rust-resistant. The smooth interior can be wiped down quickly and doesn't absorb odors or stains like plastic. For a deep clean, mild soap and water work perfectly. The steel is coated to prevent rust, but as with any metal product, it's best to avoid letting moisture sit for extended periods. Simply drying it after a wash will ensure its longevity.

Question 4

I've seen comments about the pedal being loud or flimsy. Is this a common issue?

Accepted Answer

The pedal is made of a lighter metal to function smoothly, and some initial noise is reported as cats (and owners) get used to it. This is often described as a "tinny" sound. However, widespread complaints about it breaking are rare. For very skittish cats, some owners prop the lid open for the first few days until their pet is comfortable with the motion and sound.

Question 5

What if my cat refuses to use it or I receive a damaged item?

Accepted Answer

We recommend a gradual transition by placing the new box next to the old one with the lid removed initially. If your cat still won't use it, please check our return policy for details on eligible returns. For damaged items or missing parts (like the shovel), please contact our customer support immediately with photos. We address these issues promptly, as noted in many resolved review follow-ups.
