Question 1

Will this work if I’ve never used retinal before, or should I start with a lower strength?

Accepted Answer

Yes, this is actually a great starting point! The celimax booster uses a stabilized retinal formula that’s gentler than pure retinol. That said, many TikTok reviewers suggest doing a patch test first, then using it just 2–3 times a week for the first two weeks. If your skin feels fine, you can gradually increase to nightly use. Avoid layering with other strong actives (like acids or vitamin C) during the adjustment period.

Question 2

I’ve seen complaints about the product feeling sticky after application. How do you avoid that?

Accepted Answer

You’re right—some users do report a tacky finish if they apply too much or don’t wait for full absorption. The trick is to use only 1–2 drops, warm it between your fingers, and gently press into skin. Give it 2–3 minutes to dry before applying moisturizer. Many Reddit users also say using a gel-cream moisturizer on top eliminates the sticky sensation almost completely.

Question 3

How long does a 15ml bottle typically last, and is it worth the price?

Accepted Answer

With once-daily use (2 drops per application), most users report the bottle lasts 4–5 weeks. At around $28, that’s roughly $7 per week, which is reasonable for a retinal booster. However, if you have a large face or plan to use it on your neck too, the 15ml size may only last 3 weeks. A few reviewers recommend starting with the 15ml first before committing to the larger 30ml refill.

Question 4

Can I use this if I have dry or sensitive skin?

Accepted Answer

It’s definitely possible, but proceed with caution. The formula is alcohol-free and contains soothing ingredients like panthenol, but retinal can still cause dryness. A good strategy from real user reviews: “buffer” by applying moisturizer first, then the booster, followed by a richer cream. If you have very sensitive skin or conditions like rosacea, consider consulting a dermatologist first—some YouTube reviewers with reactive skin did report irritation.

Question 5

Does this actually minimize pores and fine lines, or is that just marketing?

Accepted Answer

Based on user feedback from over 14,000 reviews, the results are real—but gradual. Most people notice smoother skin texture and visibly smaller pores after about 3 weeks of consistent use. Fine lines (especially around the eyes and forehead) typically improve after 6–8 weeks. It’s not a quick fix, but users who stick with it generally see a firmer, more even complexion. As one Reddit user put it: “No miracle, but definitely a slow, steady glow.”
