Question 1

Will these caps fit my dishwasher rack tines?

Accepted Answer

The listing states the caps have an inner diameter of 0.12"/3mm, an outer diameter of 0.2"/5mm, and a length of 1.2", and describes them as universal for dishwasher tines. Some reviewers reported they were too tight to get on all the way, while others said most fit well.

Question 2

How do I install these caps?

Accepted Answer

The listing says you just push them on in seconds with no glue or adhesive needed. Reviewers suggest soaking them in hot water first and using a dish towel or a little dish soap to help slide them on.

Question 3

Do these caps stay in place once installed?

Accepted Answer

Experiences vary: one reviewer said a few needed glue to stop them being lifted off when dishes were removed, and another found a few fell to the bottom of the dishwasher each time it was emptied because they fit a little too loose.

Question 4

Will these help with rust on my dishwasher rack?

Accepted Answer

Reviewers report using them to cover rust spots starting to appear on rack tips and to repair racks where tips were rusting due to wear, and the listing says they help prevent rust and scratches on wires.

Question 5

How many caps come in a pack, and will that be enough?

Accepted Answer

The listing and reviews confirm the pack includes 100 caps. One reviewer suggested a pack of 125 or 150 would be better, as they came up 19 short, and advised counting your tines before ordering.
