Question 1

Is this electric fly swatter safe to use around kids and pets?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the 3-layer safety net design significantly reduces the risk of accidental shock from the outer surfaces. However, like any electrical device, it’s best stored out of reach of small children and used with supervision. Many parents on TikTok and Reddit have noted it’s their go-to for quick mosquito kills without worrying about fingers touching the inner grid.

Question 2

How long does the battery last, and how does charging work?

Accepted Answer

On a full charge (via the included USB cable), most users report getting several weeks of light, daily use—roughly 200-300 zaps. The charging indicator turns red while charging and green when full. A common tip from reviewers: avoid overcharging overnight to protect the battery’s lifespan.

Question 3

Does the purple light actually attract bugs during the day or in bright rooms?

Accepted Answer

The purple UV light is most effective in dim or dark environments, such as at dusk or in a bedroom with lights off. In a fully lit room or direct sunlight, its attracting power is much weaker. Many users combine the light mode with the manual zapper for best results at night—think of it as a bonus feature rather than a full replacement for a trap-style zapper.

Question 4

How does the 4000V compare to cheaper fly swatters? Does it really kill instantly?

Accepted Answer

4000V is solid for its price range and will kill mosquitoes, flies, and small moths on contact with a satisfying zap. That said, some users note that cheaper $10 swatters also get the job done, just with slightly less spark. This racket’s advantage is the dual-mode (light + manual) and rechargeable battery, not necessarily a dramatically more powerful shock. For most household pests, it’s more than enough.

Question 5

What should I do if the racket stops charging or the mesh gets damaged?

Accepted Answer

First, check the charging cable and port for debris—sometimes dust blocks the connection. If the USB port feels loose, contact the seller for a replacement (most offer a 30-day refund or exchange). For the mesh, avoid using it on wet surfaces or banging it hard against walls, as the outer layers can warp. A few Reddit users suggest gently cleaning the grids with a soft brush to maintain conductivity.
